A. Here are some instructions that should help you out with your situation.
Deleting your Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.
Temporary Internet Files are files that are saved on your computer from Internet Explorer. They are saved on your computer so that if you later decide to open the same page again, it will open a lot faster. However for many websites who update their respective page frequently these files can become corrupt disabling you from seeing the most current version of the page you are trying to see, or even let you view the page at all. With Marketlinx this can actually disable you from being able to log in correctly, view search pages and custom searches as well as many other important functions of the Tempo MLS.
- Start Internet Explorer; however do not Log In to Tempo.
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
- In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Files, click the checkbox titled “Delete All Offline Content” and then click OK.
- In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Cookies, and then click OK.
- In the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Settings button, a new smaller window will open up. Under the Section “Check for Newer Versions of Stored Pages” select the radio button next to the option “Every Visit to the Page”, click OK, and then click OK again.
If the Temporary Internet Files folder contains a significant amount of Web page content, this process may take several minutes to complete.
You might also want to reset your web settings to their default values. To reset these settings do the following:
1. Start Internet Explorer; however do not Log In to Tempo.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
3. Click the Security tab and set the Security level for the Internet Zone to Default by clicking the “Restore Defaults” button in the lower right hand corner.
4. Click the Advanced tab, and click the “Restore Defaults” button in the lower right hand corner.
5. Click Apply then Ok to close the Internet Properties window.
After you make these changes I would suggest restarting your computer to ensure that these changes have taken effect. Once the computer is restarted, open Internet Explorer, and log in to the MLS.
