A. Property Style Definitions - Residential Properties
Single Family – A structure maintained and used as a single-dwelling unit, designed for occupancy by one family, as in a private home.
Condo – Not to be confused with “condo” ownership, a condo property style is a multi-unit project that may share up to four common walls. Sometimes referred to as a “unit”, or “apartment style”.
Townhouse – A type of dwelling unit normally having two or more stories that shares up to two common walls with other dwelling units.
Villa – A one-story residence, that shares up to two common walls, usually built in units of two or four, that also may include enclosed parking and a yard.
Condo-Hotel - Whole ownership of a room or suite that can be used whenever the owner wants and rented by the hotel when it is not in personal use. The hotel takes a percent of the revenue, with the owner or owners sharing the rest.
Manufactured-Modular – A manufactured-modular is a pre-constructed single-family residence with land.
Mobile – Used to indicate that the dwelling is a pre-fabricated structure designed to be transported on streets and highways to a semi-permanent site. Only mobile homes conveyed with real property are allowed in the MLS.
Boat Sip (Only) – Boat slips that have a county use code of “condominium” may be submitted to the MLS.
